She stated this last Sunday on an event held at the capital where Ethiopians have joined a rally to show support for the Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF).

The rally that was held at Meskel Square themed “I stand to safeguard Ethiopia”. The demonstrators were incorporated from Addis Ababa and Oromia towns at the outskirts of the capital.

In the event, the deputy mayor underlined that peace cannot be ensured with the interest of a single party. “Today’s campaign is intended to denounce the conspiracy of the terrorist TPLF . Our campaign also shows our commitment to the extent of sacrificing our life standing beside of the ENDF.”

She also noted that the only administration that should rule Ethiopia is the government that all Ethiopians have cast their vote resisting international influence, not a puppet regime assigned by external dominion. The voice of over a 100 million people have to be respected. The external interventionists also need to be refrained from influencing the country to revive the already annihilated Junta, she urged.

The ENDF and all security apparatus of the country are sacrificing their life to national security. Therefore, they need to earn appreciation and we all have to stand with them through providing support to capacitate them achieve their task, Adanech mentioned.

Oromia State President Shimelis Abdisa said on the occasion that Ethiopians will never allow the terrorist junta to continue its atrocious activities of shooting, robbing, and dividing the youth. Ethiopian nationalism is a concept developed in the  mind of every Ethiopian so that no one can divide the people. Consequently, all Ethiopians have to stand together to fight against the terrorist junta in one hand and ensure development on the other, he added.

The terrorist TPLF had once suppressed the people of Ethiopia and it is still working to conquer the people with iron fist. Over the past 40 years, the clique had applied menacing acts to dismantle the country though Ethiopians resisted it backed by their long lived culture of coexistence. “The TPLF has never been hesitated to destruct our country. Thus, we will do whatever we can to dismantle this enemy at any cost.” According to the president, Ethiopians from the four corners of the country will fight for peace and security of their motherland until the government that all citizens have cast their vote to hasten development and make the country symbol of Africa’s prosperity will be formed in the coming September.
