Every economic, social and political endeavor in Tigray region has unfortunately been a pain in the neck to Ethiopia rather than establishing peace and stability in the region as desired. The ever-changing nature of the situation due to the unpredictable character of the actors in the scenario, the multi good intentions of made are abused leading to unwanted wrong direction of war and utter destruction. The international community, particularly the west and Europe, openly admits that the sub Saharan countries, to which Ethiopia belongs, have been fundamental to the global prosperity, particularly the advanced countries.
They blatantly say that Africa has a role as a raw material producer never to be let alone. With such harmful policy, they are intent on destabilizing a country, like what is taking place in Ethiopia, through their stooges. They are least concerned about the dreadful situation in Tigray. Yet, they harshly react, on international forum and on their media, to a much simpler situation or the human rights violation in other countries. In this situation, they appear to encourage the remnants of the junta to intensify their vicious nation-destabilizing war within the region and possibly beyond. It looks as if they are deliberately or unknowingly doing disservice to the terrorists. It is nothing other than tightening the noose around the neck of the perpetrators rather criminals.
Because of the wrong policy that certain superpowers are following, regarding the situation in Tigray, diplomatic pressures, in and outside the country, are being exerted on them. For instance the unjust and negatively tuned Sec. Blinken’s and others’ repeatedly issued unfair statement in blind support of the terrorists is strongly being denounced by Ethiopian diaspora, the seekers of the truth, around the world. They urged the United States to check its foreign policy concerning the internal issues of a sovereign country. Equally, they want the world to open its eyes and see the reality of what is happening in Ethiopia impartially. In this twenty-first century, the era in which the people of the world are believed to be highly educated and ethically refined, fairness in giving judgment without favoring one more than another should have been the moral and legal standard of the time. But it is rather neglected giving undeserving way to irrational blind folded misjudgment.
In support of the United States, which, one way or the other is related to Tigray, Saudi Arabia is inflicting atrocious crimes of persecution, imprisonment and even killing on innocent Ethiopians who are out there for nothing other than looking for a better job opportunity in her country. Pursuant to this, while the Ethiopian government’s diplomatic is underway, with the same impetus the Ethiopian Peace and Unity Association as well as the International Youth Unity organized a peaceful demonstration in which the Ethiopian diaspora in collaboration with different institutions have voiced their opposition outside the State Department and the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Washington, and in the process to exert pressure on the Saudi Government to stop the human rights violation Ethiopians are suffering in her country.
Owing to the apparent grave situation in Tigray, the people in the region are under constant fear of lack of security created by the remnants of the junta. Invasions, killing, raping, looting are common place in the region and it will continue unless the Federal Government take strict measure to control the situation. Thus, in addition to the national defense force, all the regional forces in the country are flocking to the different scenes of the problem to rid Ethiopia of the perpetrators once and for all.
Provoked by the stubborn distractive activities of the enemies of the country, the fervor of nation-saving struggle is spreading like wildfire throughout Ethiopia. Each citizen is psychologically and physically prepared to genuinely respond to the call and to do whatever it takes to ascertain the sovereignty of the country in spite of the malicious and disruptive interference of some developed countries.
Because of the current situation in Tigray, special forces of all regions have flocked to the invaded areas and there is and the information from Amhara Regional State indicates that some temporarily occupied areas are liberated as a result. In response to the call made by Amhara region, other regions like Oromia, Benishangul, Sidama and others have responded right away.
The situation is such that after the federal government pulled out the army following the unilateral cease fire agreement to allow a pondering or reflecting time for both parties. Yet, the drug-intoxicated malicious terrorists carried out invasion in an attempt to control some areas such as Raya and Alamta and even Korem which were originally parts of the Amhara region.
It is an act of blatant shamelessness driven by demonic avarice, the sentiment they are attuned to.
The problem in Tigray is ever increasing: as of late, it is evident that the Ethiopian government has allowed the delivery of food to Tigray by air. Yet, the plane was attacked while it was on its way to its destination. The intriguing part here is that the humanitarian endeavor to address the food crisis is not welcome thereby forsaking the life of the general population who desperately need the food.
Unfortunately, the international community turned blind eye and deaf ear to this situation, the very fact that the terrorists themselves admitted. These groups, who vociferously condemn every redeeming measure of the government to straighten the crookedness of the terrorists’ vicious acts, are up to furthering a clandestine ulterior motive. The motive intended to disintegrate the unity of the country by creating unrest here and there in the name of the unlikely Tigrians safety and wellbeing. Abreast of this, the remnants of the junta vow to pursue their objectives as far as any extent, even to hell.
The westerners, under the guise of addressing the prevalent problem in the turbulent region, they are doing all they can to stretch their long arm to stifle the efforts of the government of Ethiopia and instead reinstate the remnants of the junta. In actual sense, their hidden agenda is far from what it appears to be. For every incident, neglecting the truth on the ground, they are intent on augmenting the interests of the enemies of Ethiopia including them. To come up victors, the major weapon they deploy is perhaps withholding their financial and humanitarian assistance and thereby denying government credibility it deserves.
Credibility refers to the influence and appeal of a government. It is an objective result of its administrative ability, as well as a comment of the public, reflecting how much they lay satisfaction and trust on the government. Akin to the case of Ethiopian government, unless a deliberate defamation maneuver is behind the whole issue, particularly referring to the problem in Tigray, it is assuming its responsibilities as effective as necessary.
The most intriguing thing in this case is how some international communities failed to differentiate the truth from a lie; it is the conscience that forces someone to make the choice of the right judgment. This does not require forceful endorsement by twisting the arm; it is just an untainted uprightness that the international community must honor particularly with regard to Ethiopia, the country they try to subdue.
