It sounds awkward when people have read or heard the expression ‘finish beginning’ as it has become literary difficult to comprehend the concept as it seems the beginning is going to finish instead of being expressed as begin finishing or begin to finish. Yes, one has to begin to finish. However, they could hardly finish beginning as it is difficult to finish without beginning.
Begin to finish might show commitment to successfully finish what is begun. However, the headline is talking about being triumphant over or annihilate what have been challenging oneself in due course of running its comprehensive activities in all aspects to fuel their development thereby hitting the set target—coming up with an influential personality, has to be well grasped.
If one is capable of overcoming hurdles, ups and downs firmly tied them now, they can defeat what has slowed them down not to move forward and declare independence. What Ethiopia has been so far encountering can be treated in the same fashion. It has to get all the sources of bottlenecks dried to begin life. Let’s help it finish beginning.
Yes, Ethiopia’s renaissance is going to begin after extinguishing blockages that have hindered its optimistic stride towards opulence and advancement. If the country finishes or successfully competes what it has commenced, it will seize the summit of success within the shortest time possible.
Successfully completing the mega projects Ethiopia has begun since the commencement of the recent reform and effectively conducting the election which is left with a week less is undoubtedly regarded as the beginning of the renaissance of this great nation—the completion or finishing of these mammoth circumstances is unquestionably going to be the beginning of Ethiopia’s rise.
Everyone knows the fact that Ethiopia conducted five sham elections so far. They might have been elections for cheaters and pseudo-democratic operators, but by no means they were elections as they had been organized and run to serve interests of power mongers or finger counted officials.
The upcoming election is going to be the dawn of hope and bright future igniter for all Ethiopians as it will lay the foundation of democracy, the culture of monitoring leaders in a legitimate and proper channel as per public will.
The Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD)is another milestone of which Ethiopia and Ethiopians outstandingly proud. Let’s finish beginning as it has helped us lay the foundation of unity, fraternity, coexistence, sense of belongingness, amicable gesture over disintegration, being foes, inequality, self-centeredness, hostile gesticulation.
True, the beginning of our growth and prosperity is the graveyard of sense of jealousy, crumbling, tribal antagonism and irrelevant deed against fellow citizens and motherland. The wider the disparity observed among us, the more convenient fertile ground for those who do not want Ethiopia’s growth and change.
Let’s finish beginning so as to help this great nation stand on its two feet. The comprehensive social, economic, cultural, political and even cultural and psychological dynamism can be easily brought about as a result of unity so the sayings go, “United we stand, divided we fail, “or “Unity is strength.”
We all have to ink our fingerprint on the possible boulevards Ethiopia has been trekking to the next level of triumph. If our forefathers and fore mothers have cascaded all the good to us all, who have rooted the evil and made inculcated in our minds thereby divorcing our hearts and fraternity sentiments? We had better finish beginning as profoundly as possible. This is the real rise of all citizens and Ethiopia from the grave they have been buried for years severely for almost four decades.
Now is the right time to rise. It is this week, this day, this hour, this minute and this second for us all to declare renaissance and rising, let’s finish beginning. The steadfast podium to stand, the bright boulevard to find the right place to domicile is the procedure of finishing the beginning.
Yes, the end of one thing is the beginning of another. That is why the writer has analogically stipulated that the culmination of killings of innocents, citizenry displacement, distrust among citizens, conspiracy against the pride of all—Ethiopia—the antagonistic view of contending parties working for the same nation, is going to be the inauguration of new Ethiopia. It is also the opening of new chapter. The formation of new era, new Ethiopia. If we kill the dibasic spirit we have so far developed, bury the unwanted seed grown among us and stamp out hatred politics, without a shadow doubt the rise of Ethiopia as well as Africa will commence soon.
