Premier Abiy, President Kenyatta plant seedlings

ADDIS ABABA – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) and the visiting Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta planted seedlings yesterday showcasing Ethiopia embracing its neighbors in the Green Legacy Initiative.

In his social media post in connection with President Kenyatta’s visit, Premier Abiy said that “I welcome to Ethiopia my brother Uhuru Kenyatta, President of the Republic of Kenya who joins today in a monumental moment for Ethiopia as we sign the telecom licensing agreement.”

Noting Ethiopia goes regional with its Green Legacy Initiative to plant six billion nationally and one billion prepared for its neighbors, the PM indicated that he and President Kenyatta took time to plant seedlings.

Upon arrival at Bole International Airport yesterday, Kenya’s high-level delegation led by President Uhuru Kenyatta received a warm welcome by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
