Historically, as we Ethiopians learnt from our forefathers and foremothers, we have to turn a deaf ear and a blind eye to minor differences and confrontations purposely rooted among citizens for over three decades based on religious, ethnic grounds with a view to helping this great nation seize the ladder of success.
There are many bodies working day in and day out with the residual TPLF remnants to destabilize Ethiopia and attempt to garner benefits at the expense of the sufferings of citizens so the saying goes ‘trying to fish in troubled waters.’
Hence, all Ethiopians at every nook and cranny of the world especially those at home have to set difference aside and work hard to declare Ethiopia’s renaissance. It is the time to stand jointly against both the internal betrayals and external historical enemies as unity is strength and no one can dare confront with firm synergy. All Ethiopians are expected to join hands not to create a fertile ground for emeries and the Junta accomplices to hit their target at the expense of Ethiopia’s sovereignty.
Of course, due to certain reasons disagreement may happen among us and is a natural phenomenon. As it happens in all environments and circumstances, it should not expose us to turn out to be enemies. However, presently using the gaps created among us, external forces tend to dare penetrate Ethiopia’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity as when disagreements intensified, the gaps among ourselves widened; it has become a very good opportunity for Ethiopia’s foes to interfere and meet their ill-equipped missions.
Elements who would like to give Ethiopia hard time and even dismantle it if they can are relentlessly working to make it restless. They really do not want Ethiopia’s development, strong status quo, and influential move as well as wish to interrupt the voyage to prosperity and democratization.
As these enemies today are strongly striving to undermine Ethiopia, citizens at home and abroad need to be alert and not to allow intervention and avoid internal conflict that can potentially create gaps.
We Ethiopians are known for resolving our internal disagreements and futile attempts developed among us via entertaining respecting one another, round table discussion and by means of mutual understanding and close conversation. Nothing is impossible if we are rational and table our views on discussion.
So as to get the key for any problem, let us exercise our mind and heart for positive deeds. Let’s us be open-minded and develop fraternity to minify minor differences. Let’s listen to one another, enjoy coexisting, entertain governing ideas instead of saying ‘my way or no way’ to get our country well developed and provide it with the appropriate place it deserves in the global arena.
We Ethiopians have not been raised in a way that compromising our country’s sovereignty is natural. That is why every citizenry across the globe has been in a state of grievance whoever their beloved country’s national interest is compromised.
The best means to make Ethiopia’s foes afraid of their wrong direction is consolidating internal unity via solving differences using a means full of civility.
Today, our enemies, from all corners of the country supported by anti-Ethiopia forces are confronting us. They try to erode Ethiopian sovereignty, unity, long standing history as well as cultural diversity. Sometime they propagate in the name of humanity, violation of human rights, as if they struggle for Ethiopia. Some also pretend to be a nationalist. But they are the other side of anti-Ethiopian forces. We all have to say no to external Intervention in our national interest against Ethiopia’s sovereignty!
Yes, there is a secret behind the curtain, as it has been repeatedly notified by the Ethiopian government, Ethiopia never wants to affect its neighbors’ interest rather it promotes and believes a win-win approach.
Importantly, whether they appreciate or disregard this novel view, the country has the right to use its natural resources, but betrayals are implementing Ethiopia’s historic enemies’ mission. Ethiopians should be far sighted, well sort out who is who, why some foreigners become against Ethiopia? and the likes. Interestingly, Ethiopia is on the verge of second phase GERD filling and carrying out the six round national elections, which is the viable avenue to push the infant democracy forward. It is undeniable that if the country successfully realizes these two national important agenda, it will be on the right track to come up with remarkable changes in all aspects and be strong and strategic East African country. In doing so, no country can dare infringe its sovereignty.
However, if we all act otherwise, Ethiopia’s foes can have a fertile atmosphere to exert maximum efforts to get Ethiopia collapsed. As our peaceful co-existence matters the most, unity, fraternity, coexistence and sense of belongingness has to be strengthened and renewed than ever before.
By and large, since no one can come and act accordingly to help Ethiopia get prospered, we all have to work from dawn to dusk to revert the falsehood fabrications and fake information produced by TPLF Junta leftovers and its accomplices to bring about magnificent change in all spheres. Our unity and fraternity has been showcasing the presence of firm courage and diligence to overcome the miscalculation of terrorist groups. True, no one can come at the front to defend our country.
As our history puts it, Ethiopians always prioritize internal interests because struggling for power is secondary.
