ADDIS ABABA– U.S. recent visa ban on Ethiopian government officials would affect peace and stability in the country as well as in the Horn region, so disclosed Veteran politician and ESAT media Manager Andargachew Tsige.
He also underscored that the US is putting pressure on Ethiopia as its endeavor to ensure geopolitical dominance is now going out of its control. The fact that Ethiopia started acting on its sovereign status, has deprived US interest in the region as well as in the Africa continent.
Ethiopia can no more have a government which is the like of TPLF which based its decision on fabricated and fallacious information, he said adding now that every action of the government is based the genuine interest of the people and the government of Ethiopia the U.S has resorted to pressure Ethiopia and impose visa ban on officials, he underlined.
Totally, it is a misguided policy shift in the region it is impossible to put a puppet government to serve such self-centered interest that undermines the sovereignty of the country, he stipulated.
The decision that the senators imposed on Ethiopia will never cultivate the anticipated peace, stability rather than havoc as the regional peace and stability highly depends on peaceful and strong Ethiopia.
If senators continue hearing information channeled from broker politicians sides, it has put wrong and destabilizing political decision. What is happening now is this which is too danger for the country as well as for the regions peace, development and unity. Because brokers always emphasized things that meet their personal interest.
