There is broad agreement that apart from getting to the bottom of Africa’s quandaries and smoothing the path of harmony among the people of the continent of Africa and beyond, Pan-Africanism has been expediting Africa’s development undertakings in a broad range of sectors more than ever before.
In a related move, Pan-Africanism has been playing a paramount role in taking the continent of Africa to unprecedented heights creating a strong sense of harmony and brotherhood among the people of the continent as soon as practicable. For the sake of truth, in the face of challenges the notion of Pan-Africanism has continued tasting the sweet fruits of accomplishment.
It is widely understood that Pan-Africanism without a shred of a doubt has brought the people of the continent of Africa together despite challenges that need a quick fix. Notwithstanding the fact that the encounters cannot be resolved overnight, all Africans residing under the umbrella of Africa should pull out all the stops to make the whole thing Africa needs to happen.
As united we stand, and divided we fall, Africans in the issue of Africa should go to the ends of the earth to give African solutions to African problems at the earliest possible juncture. Africans should not let backseat drivers to interfere in the internal affairs of their respective nations. Instead they should do the whole kit and caboodle they can in the spirit of Pan-Africanism to resolve their own challenges.
As promoting Pan-Africanism is a vital strategic measure to confront the contemporary pressing global challenges, all concerned actors should move heaven and earth to promote its concept in every nook and cranny of the continent of Africa.
It is common knowledge that Pan-Africanism has manifested the fact that nothing shall be accomplished in an isolated manner in the continent of Africa. As a matter of fact, the victory of Adwa has proved the fact that collective strength and stamina serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration for the whole world.
As the notion of Pan-Africanism places emphasis on bolstering ties among the continent of Africa with a focus on tackling socioeconomic and political impediments, Africans from all walks of life should keep on forming an alliance and addressing a diverse range of common challenges.
It is learnt that Africa has gone through uncountable struggles on the ground to emancipate itself from invaders of various forms, most interestingly, both direct and indirect. Even after independence, African nations have gone through dividing political ideologies as a result of the dictations of their former western colonizers in the name of compensation, aid, development or care taking endeavors. These have been at the expense of Pan-Africanism spirit, African nation building process, crafting African nations’ brotherhood with the content and salience of Africanism.
In actual fact, the Pretoria agreement signed in the recent past between the federal government of Ethiopia and Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) under the auspicious of the African Union in black and white demonstrate the fact that Pan-Africanism has set in motion bearing fruits and attaining the desired goal.
In a similar way, the people of Africa should continue to bolster harmony, brotherhood and regional integration with the purpose of fostering pan Africanism. Furthermore, unity is the only way that serves as a springboard for the people of Africa to pull themselves out of poverty and reach where other developed nations have reached. As attaching importance to the spirit of Pan Africanism help the continent of Africa attain its goal, all concerned stakeholders should form an alliance.
There is no doubt that Ethiopia has shown the wider international community the fact that if Africans stand in unison they can make history and take the continent of Africa to the next level of achievement no matter what the cost may be and nothing can be achieved in a separate means.
Despite the fact that African nations freed themselves from the yoke of colonization and subjugation much remains to emancipate them from economic independence.
The people of Africa have sustained to inspire each and every person with their synchronization, resilience, and determination with the purpose of creating an optimistic future and beacon of optimism for the people of the continent of Africa.
It is certain that Ethiopia has proven the fact that it is impossible to fulfill the spirit of Pan-Africanism disjointedly. Moreover, the country has shown the wider international community by standing together they can reap the fruits of achievement in anything they are involved whatever the cost may be.
According to the African Union website, AGENDA 2063 is Africa’s blueprint and master plan for transforming Africa into the global powerhouse of the future.
It is the continent’s strategic framework that aims to deliver on its goal for inclusive and sustainable development and is a concrete manifestation of the pan-African drive for unity, self-determination, freedom, progress and collective prosperity pursued under Pan-Africanism and African Renaissance.
As Pan-Africanism beyond a shadow of a doubt breathes new life into the entire development of the continent of Africa and beyond, all pertinent bodies should bend over backwards with a view to fostering its vision by consolidating various meetings in various parts of the continent of Africa. In this regard, accomplishing the intended objective will not be like nailing jelly to a tree.
