Let us march forward

In the heart of Africa, where hope intertwines with strife,

A tapestry of challenges weaves through daily life.

From the bustling markets to the quiet, dusty roads,

The spirit of resilience carries heavy loads.

Poverty lingers, a shadow on the land,

Yet initiatives rise, reaching out a hand.

Cash transfers in some corner, lifting families high,

While in other corner, women learn to reach for the sky

Climate change whispers, a threat we must face,

With plans for adaptation, we strive to embrace.

The World Bank’s vision, a blueprint so bold,

Seeks to build a future where stories unfold

Informal economies thrive, a lifeline for many,

Yet policies must shift, to support and not penny.

Inclusive dialogues spark, as voices unite,

To shape a new narrative, to guide us to light.

Education and health, the pillars we need,

Investing in people, planting the seed.

Empowering women, the heart of the fight,

For a brighter tomorrow, we must ignite

So let us march forward, hand in hand,

With courage and wisdom, together we stand.

For Africa’s future, a canvas so wide,

With hope as our compass, let love be our guide.
