ADDIS ABABA- Saudi Arabia commemorated its 94th National Day, a significant milestone reflecting the nation’s remarkable achievements and unwavering commitment to global cooperation.
The event served as a platform to further solidify the Kingdom’s strong partnership with Ethiopia, emphasizing shared aspirations and mutual respect.
Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Ethiopia, Fahd O. Alhumaydani (PhD), delivered a speech highlighting the Kingdom’s success in exceeding Vision 2030 tourism targets, attracting an impressive 109 million tourists in 2023- seven years ahead of schedule.
Ambassador Alhumaydani also emphasized the recent visit of a high-level Saudi business delegation to Ethiopia, which led to the establishment of the Saudi-Ethiopian Business Council.
In addition, the Ambassador noted a significant increase in direct flights between Saudi Arabia and Ethiopia.
The National Day event was attended by a distinguished group of Ethiopian dignitaries, ambassadors, and other invited guests.
