أديس أبابا (العلم) قال دبلوماسي في وزارة الخارجية: إن التزام الحكومة بالإجماع الوطني الناجح وتعزيز وحدة الشعوب يحق له شحذ نموزج إثيوبيا في الدبلوماسية العالمية.

كما أن استعادة امتياز قانون النمو والفرص في إفريقيا (أغوا) يعد من بين الأهداف البارزة للأنشطة الدبلوماسية المستمرة التي يقوم بها الإثيوبيون في الداخل والخارج.
وبالمثل، فإن جذب الشركات متعددة الجنسيات وتعزيز الإمكانات السياحية والتعلم من نجاح البلدان الأخرى وغيرها من شأنه أن يضفي أهمية قصوى على العلاقات الدولية لإثيوبيا.
