إشادة الإيغاد بمبادرة البصمة الخضراء في إثيوبيا

تعتبر مبادرة إثيوبيا لغرس شتلات الاشجار استراتيجية مثالية للدول الأفريقية والعالم أجمع، لأنها تربط بين طموح جدول الأعمال للأمم المتحدة الذي يهدف للتنمية المستدامة لعام 2030 وجدول أعمال الاتحاد الأفريقي لعام 2063.

كما تتوقع حكومة إثيوبيا أن تغطي 22 مليون هكتار من الأراضي الخالية بالأشجار بحلول عام 2030، ويتم ذلك من خلال تشجيع زراعة الشتيلات مما يخلق مساهمة كبيرة في الزراعة وتنمية الغابات والحفاظ على البيئة.

وتعد مبادرات هذا المشروع الضخم في إثيوبيا ضرورية مع تطبيق الإتفاق العالمي الذى تم بباريس حول التغير المناخي ، وهو اتفاق من ضمن اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة بشأن ” التغير المناخي ” ، والتي تتناول التخفيف من إنبعاث غازات الاحتباس الحراري، والحفاظ على البيئة.

وفي هذا الاطار أشادت الهيئة الحكومية الدولية المعنية بالتنمية (إيغاد) بمبادرة الإرث الأخضر الناجحة لإثيوبيا مشيرة إلى دورها الحاسم في التخفيف من تغير المناخ على الصعيد العالمي ، ودعت الدول إلى رفع مستوى مثل هذا النوع من التجارب.

و أشاد مدير شعبة التعاون الاقتصادي والتكامل الإقليمي بالهيئة الحكومية الدولية المعنية بالتنمية (إيغاد) ، عثمان محمد بابكر، بمبادرة إثيوبيا الخضراء الناجحة التي ستسهم بشكل كبير في التكامل الإقليمي وتقليل انبعاثات الكربون.

وأشار إلى أن مبادرة الإرث الأخضر التي قادها رئيس الوزراء أبي أحمد كانت مفيدة في التخفيف من انبعاثات الكربون العالية ولها دور كبير في مكافحة تغير المناخ وبالتالي تخفيف الأزمة الاجتماعية والاقتصادية في المنطقة وخارجها.

وبناءً على ذلك ، فإن الإرث الأخضر الذي أطلقته إثيوبيا له أهمية قصوى في ضمان التنمية المستدامة في المنطقة وخارجها لأنه يعزز العلاقات بين البلدان.

ومبادرة الإرث الأخضر هو مشروع  يهدف إلى زراعة الشتلات ، تم إطلاقه في عام 2019 بهدف مكافحة عواقب تغير المناخ.

وقال عثمان محمد بابكر: “علينا التفكير في كيفية توسيع نطاق مثل هذا النوع من المبادرات الناجحة للغاية ، التي تساعد على خلق كوكب صحي”.

واكد على ان المبادرة التي أطلقتها حكومة إثيوبيا ستساهم  بشكل كبير في الجهود الموجهة نحو الحد من تأثير تغير المناخ من خلال تقليل انبعاثات الغاز وضمان التنمية بدورها  إلى جانب المساهمة في مكافحة  تغير المناخ ، فإن المبادرة مهمة للتكامل الإقليمي.

وبالمثل ، فإن إثيوبيا تسهل وتتقاسم آلاف الشتلات إلى البلدان المجاورة ؛ كما زودت الدول المجاورة بشتلات الأشجار من أجل تعزيز التعاون الإقليمي ومكافحة الآثار السلبية لتغير المناخ.

و تعزز المبادرة التعاون الإقليمي وستكون في نهاية المطاف منصة مهمة لضمان السلام والاستقرار في إثيوبيا والقرن الأفريقي.

وقال عثمان محمد بابكر: “بما أن التعاون الاقتصادي والتكامل الإقليمي من المجالات الاستراتيجية للإيغاد ، فإننا نعمل على تحقيق هذا الهدف النبيل لان التكامل هو من بين الأشياء الأساسية لتمكين التنمية المستدامة في جميع أنحاء القارة “.

يذكر أن رئيس الوزراء أبي أحمد قال إن البلاد تمكنت من زراعة 25 مليار شتلة شجرة خلال السنوات الأربع الماضية متجاوزة الهدف بـ 20 مليار.

وتظهر النجاحات التي تحققت في مبادرة الإرث الأخضر حقيقة أن الإثيوبيين قادرون على تنفيذ خططهم نحو تحقيق الرخاء الوطني.

كما حصل المشروع على “جائزة القيادة الأفريقية المتميزة” تقديراً لمبادرة الإرث الأخضر التي نظمتها الأكاديمية الأمريكية للإنجاز وتحالف الأمل العالمي في واشنطن العاصمة تحت شعار “أفريقيا: الضرورة الملحة للتعبئة العالمية”.

ويعتبر تغير المناخ حاليًا من أكبر القضايا في العالم ويؤثر على البلدان النامية على وجه الخصوص لذا ، فإن توسيع أنشطة التنمية الخضراء في إثيوبيا لتشمل البلدان المجاورة من شأنه أن يدعم جهود البلدان للتعامل مع آثار تغير المناخ ومكافحتها حتي تستطيع الصمود امام تحديات تغير المناخ التي تواجه العالم في الوقت الحالي.
