I love woman…
Always had a woman as my best friend;
even before I was a young man,
I always preferred a woman’s company
above all others.
My first teachers were women…
My mother, who raised two young black
brothers in amerikkka,
In the projects, and neither of us dead or in
jail…
My Grandmother, who we affectionately
called ‘Nannie’, who was the first to
Encourage me to perform… “Timmy! Get up
here and sing that song, recite that poem,
say that speech…”
Whatever it was… “Awww Nanny!”
But I couldn’t say no, had to go, get up and flow…
My Sunday school teachers,
my 1st choir director,
even many of my girlfriends,
And their Moms, looked forward to my Sunday visits,
(After church of course).
It was ladies who taught me how to treat them,
women who taught me that They could be
ladies, *****whatever THEY chose for themselves.
Women always decide before they make a move;
Of course,
I’ll admit I LOVE those soft,
squishy parts that ONLY women have…
But, it’s not about those parts alone;
I genuinely love women as people,
Sincerely like most of them as human beings,
Daughters of Zion, Mothers of Creation,
I Love Women!

This is kind of a tribute to my mother and grand mother because my first teacher my mother.She was a single mother we in the projects. My grand mother always spoilt me. She was the first to get me to get on stage. She saw me singing the Beatles song. She went buy guitar and in birthday, family union and say “Get up and read that poem, sing that song”. Whenever I do something in church, she encourages me. You know I didn’t like it then but I see how I am comfortable in stage because of those things.
Women are always important. Like I said I used to visit my girl friends mom. They love me for that. My Sunday school teachers, My choir directors They all are strong ladies. They taught us to be strong blackman and respect women. It is nothing wrong be strong man but you have to still respect women.
