ADDIS ABABA – The Ethiopian international referees Beamlak Tesema and assistant referee Temesgen Samuel are in Rabat, the capital of Morocco, to attend a refreshment course for the coming African Cup of Nations final.
According to the Ethiopian football Federation the two Ethiopians are among the 23 referees and 29 assistant referees who are selected from 33 CAF member associations.
The match officials take medical and physical tests during their stay in the course. The African football governing body, the Confederation of African Football, CAF, announced that besides the theoretical and practical session the amendments of laws of the game will be discussed in the course.
Those who are selected will officiate the final match that is scheduled to take place in Egypt from June 21 to July 29, 2019.
Four cities including the capital Cairo, Alexandria, Ismaelia and Suez are venues of games.
