ADDDIS ABABA– The transition to the new AU structure should ensure transparency and take into account the rights of employees, Minister of Foreign Affairs Gedu Andargachew said.
The Minister said this yesterday during the discussion of the Executive Council following a report on the progress of the proposed reform.
AU’s human resources structure should reflect the experience and competence of employees and their capacity to carry out responsibilities, Gedu added.
The foreign ministers of the member states also commented on the report.
