PM Abiy, DPM Temesgen visit development projects in Oromia, Amhara

-PM Abiy visits Ambo Woreda in Oromia state

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD), accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh and Oromia Regional President Shimeles Abdissa and other senior government officials visited Ambo Woreda of Oromia Regional State on Wednesday.

PM Abiy and his group received a warm welcome by the resident of Ambo town upon their arrival in Ambo. The delegation visited industries, model kebeles and other development projects in Ambo Woreda.

   -PM Abiy reviews construction of Dendi section of the Wanchi-Dendi Eco Lodge

During his visit to Ambo, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed also visited the Dendi section of the Wanchi-Dendi Eco Lodge project. The Dendi Eco Lodge is a tourist attraction site developing under the umbrella of the Wanchi-Dendi Eco Lodge, which the Wanchi part inaugurated a year ago in Wanchi area, while the Dendi section is on its final stage to join the tourist destination industry.

The civil construction part of the Dendi section is complete, while finishing work is in progress, the office of the Prime Minister stated following PM Abiy’s review of the project. The Wanchi-Dendi is one of the “Dine for Ethiopia” national initiative projects launched by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed years ago

  -Deputy Prime Minister reviews corridor, development projects in Bahir Dar city

Deputy Prime Minister, Temesgen Tiruneh (centered), along with President of Amhara State and other senior federal and Amhara state officials reviewed the corridor project and development activities of Bahir Dar City, including the construction of Bahir Dar International Stadium, this week.

After reviewing the development projects of the city, DPM Temesgen stated that Bahir Dar is advancing to become a prime tourism and investment hub.

The development projects, including the beautification of the city with the corridor development, are transforming Bahir Dar into a leading tourism and investment destination, DPM Temesgen stated following reviewing the activities of the city.

The new developments would enhance the infrastructure and aesthetics, leveraging the unique position of Bahir Dra as the home of Lake Tana and the Nile River.
