في ليلة الـ 3 من نوفمبر 2020 ، أطلقت جبهة تحرير تجراي الارهابية ، تحت جنح الظلام ، ما وصفته لاحقًا ، على شاشة التلفزيون العام ، بأنه “هجوم استباقي صاعق” ضد القيادة الشمالية لقوات الدفاع الوطني الإثيوبي ، التي كانت تتمركز في المنطقة منذ اندلاع الحرب مع إريتريا منذ أكثر من عقدين.
و دمرت المجموعة الارهابية وسرقت قدرًا كبيرًا من المعدات العسكرية لإثيوبيا حيث كان أكثر من 70 في المائة من قوات الدفاع الوطني متمركزة في المنطقة لحماية البلاد. ومن ثم ، اعتبر الكثيرون هذا العمل الإرهابي للجبهة خيانة جسيمة ضد إثيوبيا بهدف تفكيك وجودها كدولة.

لكن كل هذه المؤامرات الدولية تم إحباطها من قبل شعب وحكومة إثيوبيا دون المساس بسيادة وسلامة البلاد والآن أصبحت أيام الجبهة الارهابية معدودة.
والآن ، تغيرت الأمور و اصبح التدخل والضغط المستمران غير المبررين ضد إثيوبيا بلا جدوى بفضل نضال الشعب الإثيوبي الشجاع وقوات الدفاع الباسلة في البلاد حيث تسيطر قوات الدفاع الاثيوبية الآن على عدة أماكن في اقليم تجراي.
